     I am a Harvard-trained lawyer who has practiced bankruptcy law and federal court litigation for five decades, including 25 years as a partner in two national law firms. Five years ago I established my own firm in order to offer clients my extensive experience and high skill level at reasonable hourly rates.  My primary practice areas are chapter 11 corporate reorganization and chapter 9 municipal bankruptcy.  I have represented debtors in over 50 cases with confirmed chapter 11 plans of reorganization.  I have won two cases in the United States Supreme Court and numeorus appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  I represented the Transportation Corridor Agencies in the Orange County bankruptcy case, and my clients recovered almost $350 million through the county's plan of adjustment.  I have represented local labor unions in bankruptcy cases, including having obtained confirmed plans of reorganization for two local unions, which is a rare accomplishment.  I also have represented the FDIC in bankruptcy cases filed by failed bank holding companies where the FDIC has recovered over $50 million through my efforts. I offer this expereince to new clients at reasonable hourly rates.
