I HAD THE PLEASURE OF SERVING WITH JOHN ON A 3-PERSON NEUTRAL PANEL HEARING (FOR 35+ FULL HEARING DAYS) A VERY COMPLEX AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASS'N COMMERCIAL DISPUTE. I WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SERVE WITH HIM AGAIN. HIS UNDERSTANDING.OF THE ISSUES -- HIS GRASP OF THE RELEVANT LAWS AND FACTS -- WAS OUTSTANDING. HE TREATED ALL PARTIES AND COUNSEL RESPECTFULLY. AND THE OCCASIONAL CLARIFYING QUESTIONS HE PUT TO COUNSEL WERE INVARIABLY HELPFUL AND "ON POINT". HIS PARTICIPATION DURING THE COURSE OF THE PANEL'S DELIBERATIONS WAS FURTHER EVIDENCE OF HIS THOROUGHNESS WHEN HE CONSULTED THE EXTENSIVE NOTES HE'D TAKEN DURING THE HEARINGS, AND WHEN HE SUGGESTED SOME SPECIFIC LANGUAGE TO DEAL WITH SOME OF THE PANEL'S CONCERNS IN HOW BEST TO RESPOND TO VARIOUS MOTIONS.FILED BY COUNSEL
