About

I enjoy my work and it gives me great satisfaction when I obtain a good result for my client.  I have personally been through a divorce situation where there were many on-going issues concerning child custody.  It was extremely difficult and emotionally trying.  I am glad to report that my two sons (who are now 25 and 28) came out of the process in good shape.  They love and respect both of their parents and I couldn't be happier with their successes in life.I am an avid musician and have been principal saxophone with the Pomona Concert Band for many years.  I also enjoy photography, running, and reading.

Mr. Kibbler followed through, provided good advice and tactic and negotiated a favorable settlement for me. I especially appreciate he was concerned with my well being throughout the process.

John is a very hardworking attorney that helped me with a default judgment issue I had. John really gave me an overall understanding of default judgments and we are currently in discussions about a retainer for collection of the judgment he got. I recommend this attorney for anyone looking to work on Bankruptcy and Collecting Judgments.

John was very diligent and took time with my case. He has a vast knowledge of family law and I would recommend him to anyone that needs help filing for divorce, answers to filings, child custody and paternity issues.

I truly wish I had similar experiences as the other reviews. I don’t like to give negative reviews unless I get really hurt and dissatisfied and that’s why I am not rating Mr. Kibbler a one star. I had informed him of the court order for the child support before hiring him, just like most attorneys who offer free consultation. I hired Mr. Kibbler in May of 2020 to modify the child support order that was set on 10-28-2019 cause the ruling was based on my higher income of 2017 & 2018 so the Judge told me to come back when filed my 2019 tax return. Mr. Kibbler was well informed of my case several times via phone, text and email, but still requested to postponed the trial date without my knowledge and when asked about it stated that he does not know why the court date changed. He then had me sign a declaration couple of months later stating that I was aware of it. Another misinformation was about my savings; when I asked if the savings would effect calculating the child support, he said NO, child support is calculated based on current income and expenses, a huge mistake which caused me lots of money and selling a rental income which could had been avoided with correct advisement and information. Many times I experienced how unorganized Mr. Kibbler was, had to repeat the same info and after several court hearings, and on the last court hearing I did not once feel supported by him and the lack of willingness to fight or even try explaining anything to the judge and would just agree with the other attorney. I would not recommend his service which costed me a lot of psychological and financial pain. I end up paying the other attorney’s fee as well, No changes to the child support order which was based on my previous income and will have to pay the attorney’s fee if I file again until November of 2021.
