We have some property on Rainier Ave S in Renton. The city is in the process of improving Rainier Ave with wider sidewalks, trees and bus lanes. All good news. The problem for us was the improvements caused our building to be removed. The city made us an offer for the building and the piece of land they needed. It was low. We didn't know what to do so we asked our attorney for advise. He gave us the name of the right man, John Paul Turner of Rodgers, Deutsch, & Turner. John Paul was most knowledgeable and very professional throughout the entire process. His confidence and demeanor was very reassuring. His strategy and negotiations produced nearly 100% more $$ than the original offer!! We strongly recommend John Paul Turner to anyone who needs advise when it comes to property issues with the City, County or State.

I have worked a number of attorneys in my career as well as my personal life. Additionally, I come from a long line of some of the most successful attorneys in the Northwest. In my opinion John Turner is one of the finest attorney’s I have ever worked with on any matter. His ability to hone in on the issues, discuss relative strategies and make a compelling argument either for discussion, settlement or litigation, is superior to his peers. I also would be remiss if I did not mention responsiveness. Nothing is more critical than communication, and to that end John was exceptionally communicative and kept me fully apprised of the status, potential obstacles and took a fluid approach to how best we negotiated a settlement so that we got the best possible result. All of this was possible because of consistent contact and meeting of the minds on our strategy and next steps. Through his work, we ultimately got a better settlement and a very positive outcome that I am not certain any other attorney in this field would have worked as hard to achieve. I would use John again without question or reservation, and have and will suggest him to anyone in need of his services.
