John was extremely helpful and always had my best interests in mind. Kind courteous and a very smart guy. I would recommend him to anyone.
John has a very thorough understanding of the methods and laws surrounding a variety of situations. Consulting him on short notice and with very little time to grasp an understanding of the options that were available for me in my situation, he was patient and kind. He provided a couple options as well as the repercussions of each so that I could make an informed decision about what was the right solution for me. He also provided some reading material so that I could be a better informed client; and in doing so, he pointed out and allayed my concerns that were irrelevant to the case at hand. Because he is a very knowledgeable lawyer with more than one area of expertees, I have already added him to my Rolodex contacts shortlist so that I can come back to him quickly and easily should the need arise for me to consult or engage him in future. You are one lawyer to whom I can now confidently say "I Trust You", Thank you John. (I should hope we never have to meet again, but if we do, I appreciate you and your skills as a lawyer.)
I was looking at purchasing a home with an IRS tax lien on it. John took the time and went over the pros and cons of going through the process of purchasing the home. I am still considering the options, but if I decide to follow through with the purchase, I will continue to work with John. As a matter of fact, I will continue to work with John on all legal issues within his expertise. He is a good man. Thank you.
John was very swift to answer my question and was very helpful with what I asked of him. I will be making an appointment soon for his help with my issue. He seems very down to earth and straight forward. He also seems trustworthy and kind. I would recommend him just from the experience I have had so far with him.
My husband died suddenly, I had to close the family business and I was at risk of losing my home. I met with an Attorney and it was decided a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy was the best solution. No payment for the Chapter 13 was given. Three months later when I went to sign the papers the payment was not the least bit affordable. I did not sign the paperwork and left devastated. My friend referred me to John Schuh. John reviewed my paperwork and gave me an estimate of what the Chapter 13 payment would be. A few weeks later I met with him and we detailed my budget and plan. When it was time to sign the paperwork John met with me on a Saturday afternoon so I would not have to miss work. My Chapter 13 payment was even less than his original quote. At one point I had emailed him on a Saturday morning and he responded on Sunday morning! Everything John told me was just the way it turned out or better! John Schuh pulled my life back together. The entire process was positive and professional. I cannot say enough good things about John Schuh and his Firm!
I came to Atty Schuh for a possible bankrupcy situation. I had never gone through anything like this before and I really didn't want to. He explained things so I would understand them. I ended up not going this route. John was honest and truthful and pointed me in a different direction, even though it was no benefit to him. He gives attorney's a good name. I would recommend John to anyone with a legal need.
I owned a rather large business when disaster struck and a seven figure account receivable went delinquent and I retained John Schuh's services for my personal and business bankruptcy. John worked through my issues and the reputation he had with the bank's attorneys as being honest and trustworthy allowed us to work out a plan that was best for both parties. I was able to help the bank in the sale of my business a deal that John helped piece together and in return was released from my personal guarantee saving me from personal bankruptcy. I don't believe there is another attorney in Cincinnati that could have kept me from having to file for bankruptcy other than John Schuh because he helped us outline a plan we could deliver on and his personal integrity was a major factor when working with the bank. I know outcomes such as mine are rare and John cannot always work miracles such as he did in my case however I feel greatly indebted to him for the quality of the job he performed. John truly cares about his clients and so therefore I would strongly recommend his services.
Our situation was very unique. John was recommended to us because he is supposed to be someone who is not afraid to take on a case that is not of the cookie cutter variety. He backed up that recommendation and then some. Without going into all the details, our bankruptcy filing turned into a legal battle with the Department of Justice who were seeking to have our case dismissed. John did an excellent job and ultimately prevailed. Thank you, John!
