As I've read the comments below I'm not surprised by some peoples bitter comments about John. He doesn't waste time with small talk, so I can see how "snotty" women would not get along with him. Hes not much of a compliment giver, nor good at complimenting or sweet talking clients. In court however, he is amazing & probably one of the best trial attorneys I have ever seen. He got me a off the hook in some pretty serious charges. Is he a people person? NO. But hes a very good trial attorney.

After I met with Mr. Pinheiro I was impressed by how articulate he was in litigation law. John is very humble. He graduated with a Masters of Law from Quinnipiac University, but never brings it up even though he is more qualified then 99.9% of attorneys. Was very pleased with his work ethic, and overall how he handled my case. Mike

Does not call his clients back. Pinheiro failed to file suite in the required time frame so I lost my right to file suite. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and in my opinion a degenerate gambler who fails to carry liability insurance.

I was injured in a car accident a few years ago, started medical treatments, then hired John for my case. He seemed nice at first and very knowledgable with his 20+ years experience. However, if I didn't do things exactly his way, he got angry, lost his temper, and broke confidentiality (vented to others). He insists his clients choose a doctor he knows but I had a doctor I trusted and chose before hiring him and was afraid to switch in the middle of treatment to an unknown doctor, to a further location of inconvenience, but he kept pushing it. I know it's easier for lawyers to work with to get records from someone they know, but an injured person in has the right to choose a medical doctor they feel comfortable with during uneasy times, and treatment that works for them. He instead, didn't seem to care about my health and physically getting better, and emphasized in conversations about winning the settlement money. He made the situation more difficult for me, causing a lot of emotional distress. He needs to understand clients need to be physically well to take on the case too. He would not answer or return my phone call for months at a time. Sometimes I didn't know what was going on. I found out later from someone who knew him and I, that he has been complaining about me and my case to them, about how I wouldn't choose a doctor he knew. I didn't understand why he broke confidentiality like that and would degrade any of his clients that way. One day he finally called back, but in a rage for about a half hour venting and yelling at me, saying that his other clients would listen to him, unlike me (again, about recommended medical treatments/providers). When he said his last say and hung up, I broke down and cried in the middle of a department store, which I never have done in any of my adult years. I really couldn't take his treatment towards me anymore. I wonder about other people's experience with him with this. It sounds like people who did everything he wanted didn't have a problem. I was relieved he was no longer my lawyer. I was afraid to talk to other lawyers for some time. I've been afraid all these years to mention anything on a review like this because I feared he would call me to harass me again, but I know this review might save others from discontent. Anyways, after researching and speaking to some other lawyers, I finally found another lawyer who helped me and was willing to work with any medical provider's that I chose.
