I visited Mr. Kenney for a criminal matter. I wanted a guarantee which Mr. Kenney said he could not and would not give. He said he would 'do his best.' I was skeptical at first but hired him and boy am I glad I did. He was comfortable and confident in the courtroom and was very familiar to the Judge. He was able to negotiate with the DA for a reduced charge down to a summary ticket. This was better than I had ever hoped and far better than another lawyer had said was possible.. He was reasonable and kept me in the loop. I will certainly refer him to others in the future.

Mr. Kenney did a great job on my bankruptcy case. He listened to me. He gave me honest straightforward advice some of which I did not first want to hear. He was very fair. After I hired him he followed through with exactly what he said he would do. He was accessible even after normal hours. I would hire him again without hesitation.

Our request pertaining to a personal matter , was addressed with efficiency. During the waiting period, he addressed all of our questions, no matter how small and was always available to discuss our concerns. We highly recommend Mr. Kenney to anyone who needs legal help. Thanks John !!

I located Mr. Kenney through this website, and he did such a solid job, I am coming back to recommend him. I'm basically a good citizen that made a stupid decision. Looking over some of the other adverts, I didn't feel all that comfortable with "ex" prosecutors despite the implication they have an inside track. Mr. Kenney was well-acquainted with and welcomed by the judge at the court house and had a good relationship with my assigned prosecutor. He is respectful to his (our) adversaries, but he clearly communicates that he is on your side and calls a spade a spade in the other camp. He is a serious and friendly, and no BS'er. He sets a fair price for his services. He obviously knows the workings of the Bucks County Court House and to make a long story short, he got me a fairly lenient sentence, better that I could have hoped for - but then again, I'm really not a criminal type or a risk to make the judge look bad in the future. Mr. Kenney must have communicated well in my behalf, because I may have looked dicey. He also takes a low key approach that apparently works well within a hectic court system. I am grateful that Mr. Kenney represented me, and I plan on enlisting him for other legal matters like wills, etc. He must be very happy now that Notre Dame is doing so well this year in football.

After meeting with Mr. Kenney and a couple other lawyers for a free consultation on my ongoing divorce I decided to hire him because his rate seemed fair compared to the others. My ex-wife and myself were going through a mutual consent divorce and had filed the majority of the paperwork ourselves but run into a roadblock because the judge overseeing our case was very particular. Mr. Kenney took on our case and handled the matter in a timely manner. My only issue with Mr. Kenney was his lack of communication. Initially he wouldn't promptly return phone calls and emails and was always busy when I called. His administrative assistant would take my number and said she would have him call but he never did. After all my efforts it wasn't until I paid Mr. Kenney our agreed upon fee that he started responding to calls and emails immediately. Also, I wished he was more proactive in providing information on the case status throughout the process.

The worst lawyer ever... I hired John M. Kenney 2 years ago to divorce from my ex, no status given every-time I had called. They never return your call back. He just want your money to get nothing done. This is a simple divorce, no kids and nothing in common with my ex. Definitely, would not recommend him at all. It is a waste of money and time. He should be banned.

Almost a year and a half for my divorce all parties are cooperating but Mr. Kenney doesn't communicate where we are in the process and what to the next step is. I only get information if I call or now email and his answers are less then acceptable. Very frustrated and confused. I would.not recommend Mr. Kenney.

Mr. Kenney instantly struck me as an, to put into nice words, unpleasant person. I hired him because I believe that just because you are unpleasant doesn't mean you aren't good at your job. Once I hired Mr. Kenney I paid him a retainer and expected his full attention to my case. That was the complete opposite of what I received. Over the course of 3 or 4 office meetings I had to repeat the details of my case to him over and over again as he asked me the same questions every single time. It felt as if it was his first time meeting me every time. He also repeated the same line about how he doesn't BS and tells you how it is EVERY time we spoke. That seemed like a cheesy things to constantly repeat. I hired him to represent me throughout the legal process and communicate with the prosecution to find out possible outcomes or plea deals available. Not once did he communicate with the prosecution after months of being my lawyer. He didn't keep me informed of the status of my case and waited until less than a month before my trial to tell me he hadn't requested his appearance with the court of common pleas as my lawyer, and wouldn't do so until I gave him another retainer. He hadn't do ne any of things I gave him the first retainer for and then wanted another one at the last minute with my trial approaching. I would have had no problem paying Mr. Kenney a second retainer if he actually gave me literally anything that he did for my case. I repeat, there was no interaction with the prosecution about the details of my case! This was an incredibly unprofessional move and he did so by letter, not even taking the time to call me and discuss any options. Needless to say I wasn't pleased with the representation I received and got another lawyer.
