You might as well light your money on fire or give it to a family member who will never pay you back. It’s really a Ponzi scheme by which they take your money to “work on your case” and claim that this money was for services rendered but not services were ever completed. The fact that the bar allows such pond scum to operate in such a de facto manner shows how little the legal industry is regulated and maintained. Because somebody like this should face repurchasing and an inquiry for bilking customers and obfuscating. I’d give no stars if I could. I hired them in March and zero, nada, zilch updates or progress and it’s basically November. For a negotiation on a past debt.

Hired Mr Helstowski for a bankruptcy case and he dropped the ball at every turn of the case. He failed to get the appropriate documents to the courts in time and my bankruptcy was discharged. He had to file it a second time. It drug on for almost a year. In the end he failed to file vehicle reaffirmation and the proper documents for the mortgage. I lost more than I gained by using him. I do not recommend him. He is very disorganized which leads to more mistakes.

Signed a contract, never did a thing for me or my case. He ignores emails, then when you questioned why he not do anything, he'll email he's no longer representing you despite having a signed agreement. Wouldn't trust him at all! Talks a good game though epically fails to provide!
