Especially loved the fact that I didn’t feel judged and he listened to my input as to what I wanted out of this separation.
John is a very down to earth guy. He was able to understand the needs of my situation and is easy to communicate with. He does good work and in a timely manner. There is also a website that you can track your case, which makes it easy to keep things organized or stay on top of things. Emails are also sent to you as reminders that you have an important date coming up. I would highly recommend John to anyone in need of his service.
I have had occasions to consult an attorney over the past 15 years. Although the specifics must remain private, there were three (non pro bono) whose services I used. The first two were my mistake for hiring. I learned a prospective client MUST perform due dilligence on a prospective attorney. Rely on recommendations alone only from those who you trust implicity or those who have direct knowledge of the integriy, knowledge of the attorney they recommend. Any attorney licensed and member in good standing with the bar association(s) in the states(s) he/she practices, can represent your interests. However in my opinion the degree with which he/she is an advocate for your cause, is vital. Mr. John Hauk worked with me on an equals basis, on finding or recommending the best solutions in the matters for which I sought his council. As it happens, I need council again and find it unecessary seek another attorney. As in as in any other profession, some are "better" than others. I would not hesitate in recommending a man with a strong devotion to the law and his clients rights and responsibilities.
You asked so I'm answering truthfully. Having need of an officer of the court ( Lawyer) twice in the last couple of years, I left town rather than seek council of a local attorney. At the time, John was practicing in a nearby town, far enough away that he was not involved in the tonough local "club" of lawyers who in my opinion, are interested not in agressively pursuing as my adocate, the work that could have only been performred by a lawyer. Speaking from experience, two separate issues ended in my having to speak on my own behalf in court because both times my own attorney didn't come to court equipped with information I turned over to them three months earlier. Neither of them wanted to "wwin" on my behalf least the opposing attorney cut them out of the local brotherhood. That is just how "fixed" it is among Attornies here. Such was NOT the case most recently When I went to John. You guys may not have met him, but I can tell you he listened carefully to my presentation of the issue, what I thought was behind and driving it and asked questions of important matters he needed to know That was not in my presentation. When so decision time came around, he knew every detail, even some I forgot I told him. I would not hesitate a minute recommending him. If he takes your case you are in about the best hands possible. One point I would like to add. Know what your lawyer MUST do on your behalf when you hire one. He must follow your instructions on the options available so long as your instructions are lawful and do not reflect poorly on him to the extent it could adversely affect his livelihood You are the BOSS of your case. Know how cases similar to yours, have turned out. Read up a little to KNOW YOUR RIGHTD. Do not expect your attorney to give you a lesson on your constitutional rights. If YOU don't know your rights, you don't have any and very well may fid you are being manipulated into doing what is expedient for others. You are the only one who has a personal stake in your own case. After all is over, everyone goes about their normal lives. You have to live forever with the result.
John put me at ease while I gained my order of protection. He was efficient, knowledgeable and I felt like he cared about my concerns. Thank you!

John Hauk and his staff kept me informed of the progress of my case for the entire duration. Any and all questions were handled in a timely manner and helped me understand the process. Would highly recommend his firm and will continue to use his services as needed.
John has helped me personally and professionally with legal matters ranging from firearms issues (I am a firearms instructor) to business matters. He's always been very responsive and timely and very honest. I feel fortunate to have him working on my side representing my business and personal matters. I also feel confident sending him family and friend referrals when the needs arise. I highly recommend.
