I have worked with John for many years on many development projects in Lexington that have required Site Plan Approval, Special Permit with Site Plan Approval, Rezoning parcels of land and subdivision approvals. John has an excellent understanding of the local By-laws and procedures to follow to insure positive decisions from the Boards. He is responsive to the needs of the client and provides an exceptional level of professional legal services. I heartily recommend John.

I've worked with Atty.John Farrington for over ten years on many complex real estate transactions, both acquisitions and sales. He has an excellent relationship with local officials and has an thorough knowledge of town bylaws and zoning regulations. He has a strong work ethic, and is honest and dependable. I have worked with several other Lexington lawyers and find John to be at the top of my list. I would highly recommend him for any and all real estate related matters.

I would absolutely recommend Atty. John Farrington and do so on a regular basis. He has done work for me, my family and my clients over the past 25 years. I have found him to be dependable, knowledgeable and responsive. He returns my phone calls and is always great with deadlines. I have been involved with difficult and complex development and zoning issues which he has handled expertly.

Very disappointing experience. He missed almost every agreed-upon action date with both client and town boards, failed to complete many tasks (filings, title search, etc.) critical to this land development in a timely or workmanlike way (in some cases at all), would not maintain contact/return calls, messed up accounts pretty badly - even billing twice for same services. Aggravation and wasted time were considerable, but direct and opportunity cost was probably 10-20x the cost of the legal work.
