I was very worried about the situation of my case due to many things that were happening in my personal life and the immigration interview was coming up and I was so nervous about it but for some reason someone contacted me with Mr Egan and to be honest I feel that he was like an angel that God put on my way, he has ethics and love for what he does, some lawyers that I consulted jut wanted to take advantage of my situation and charge me a lot of money not caring what I was going through and others told me that my case was lost and I shouldn’t go to the interview. Mr Egan kindly offered to help me, I know that no lawyer can guarantee an immigration process (in my case much less) but at least knowing that you have a lawyer there to support and guide you is very helpful, I am still waiting for the immigration response about my case but whatever it is I will always be grateful to him for what he did for me. Thank you Mr Egan
I went to John Egan’s “immigration information workshop” which happens on the first Monday of every month to seek some advice for my greencard application. When I met him, I knew he was the right attorney to assist me. He was so organized, knowledgeable and everything he explained to me was so easy to understand. English is not my first language and having someone that I could communicate so easily with was crucial for me. The whole process seemed overwhelming to me but working with Jonh and his lovely assistant X made everything so easy and pleasant throughout. On the day of my interview I felt 100% prepared and everything went smoothly. When my husband and I met with John before the meeting, he again was so calm and prepared. I also like how respectful he spoke to the immigration officer during our interview! I got my greencard last week and will definitely look for Jonh to assist me with my citizenship in the future. Mahalo Jonh Egan & Team! Aloha!
I was quite worried about an immigration issue concerning a family member. I called the office and left a message. John returned my call in the same afternoon. He patiently listened and analyzed my case with surgical precision. He offered some very valuable advises and put my mind at ease. I can tell he is extremely knowledgeable in immigration law as well as a very warm and sincere person. That’s really rare. He took his time to listen and answered every question. He did not even charge me anything. Thank you John! After the 20 minutes telephone discussion, I immediately felt a great relief of my worries. I am truly grateful. I know I have a great attorney to rely on going forward. I read all of his reviews and convinced that each and every one of those are from his many satisfied clients. John is the best go to attorney here in Honolulu or anywhere for immigration issues. I owe much to AVVO to be able to find John.
ur initial contact with John was by a (free) phone consultation. As a same sex couple we had many questions regarding the best way to have my now husband join me in the United States and to settle in Hawaii. We were very impressed with John and knew immediately that he would be the right immigration lawyer for us. John’s answers to our questions gave us an immediate positive impression of his knowledge, professionalism and many years of experience in immigration law. John also is personable and has a good sense of humor which made us feel comfortable and confident that John would have the best approach to ensure a positive outcome, which is for my husband and I to settle on the Big Island together. The entire process was very well organized with checklists and ensuring all forms and documents were appropriately completed. John promptly replied to our emails and phone calls. We were informed of our appointments and what to expect during our USCIS interview. John has a wonderful ability to provide encouragement and make us feel at ease during the entire process. We were very fortunate that he represented us in the Green Card (adjustment of status) process. After four months process, we are now able to enjoy our lives together in Hawaii.
We were very happy to have John as our attorney. It has been a pleasure to work with him and the whole process went smooth. We will definitely recommend Migration Counsel to anyone looking for professional assistance and services in immigration matters.
Choosing Mr. Egan was the result of consulting several immigration attorneys. His friendly and welcoming personality personified the Aloha Spirit. I am MORE than pleased with my decision to go with him, and Migration Counsel. Mr. Egan was the immigration attorney who processed my fiancé visa from beginning to end. Our situation included several unusual circumstances which were handled very well. He stood by us all the way, keeping us informed of upcoming events and how to prepare for them (as well as what to expect). Everything he did was done with Aloha, and genuine care for our concerns. In retrospect, I am in awe at how fast the process was, from interviewing and obtaining the services of Mr. Egan to now being happily married within a year*. I firmly believe that this would not have happened so smoothly had I chosen a different attorney. One thing I've learned from this process is to not always trust what you read online, or hear from people who really have no basis for their statements. Go to a knowledgeable professional. One with Aloha. John Robert Egan, AAL with Migration Counsel. *timeline based on my personal situation, which may vary based upon your own situation.
For those that find legal procedures confusing and clueless, working with John is definitely a relief! Somehow my case was prolonged by the USCIS and it concerned me and my husband a lot. However thanks to John's relentlessly effort to retrieve responses from the USCIS and his valuable network resource, my case progressed at an amazing speed after that and I quickly got my green card eventually. One thing very special about John and his service which is pretty rare with consulting services in general is the quality of his information. He would provide you intensive and extensive relevant information to your case even when you are unaware to ask about that. Also when you have question or raise any concern, he would work on it with you immediately. Overall, I and my husband are very happy and satisfied with John's service!
At the very beginning when we face our immigration application, we think it won't be a big issue. However, after we considering some potential unsettling, we decided to hire some attorney, When we found John, both of us believe this well knowledgeable and responsive attorney will definitely help us hit the case easily. We prepared all the paperwork he needed, and then he sent out the application on Mar 21, 2014. Everyone told me that normally, the immigration case would cost us at least 6 months. However, so surprisingly, my wife officially receive her GREEN CARD on exact July 26, 2014! At the same time, one of my friends, who is living in Portland, Oregon, sent out her green card application on the same day as my wife's (Mar 21, 2014), and she haven't even received her interview notice from the USCIS. I would like to say, because of John, our case were done successfully and easily! Thank you, John, for his professional and trustworthy! Please, if anyone at Hawaii State need help about immigration, please look forward him! Promise you, he will offer you the best of the best!
We hired John from Migration Counsel in order to work on my immigration status change. From our very first encounter with John, we were impressed with his professional demeanor, depth of knowledge and expert advice on our case. Instead of confusion and intimidation as we had experienced before with another lawyer, we walked out of John’s office feeling reassured and in control of what to do next. This is true with every subsequent meeting with John. There were no surprises or unexpected details that crept up on us while working with him. He is solution oriented and lays out the facts and details clearly. It is evident that John enjoys his work and is well informed on all matters related to migration. We are very pleased with John's service and would recommend his service to our friends without hesitation.
Very knowledgeable and professional. I am so glad he helped me. My case was easy but I always have a problem of waiting till last minute. Robert Egan made sure we had all the necessary paperwork done on time and I received my Green Card in mail in about 6 moths. He is great!
