I was laid off and requested advice if I should accept the agreement. A different lawyer handed me off to Mr Donohue, a lawyer who did not specialize in employment law. Mr Donohue was very aware of my disability and only question to me was if I felt I was laid off without reason. At the time I accepted it and said I did not believe anything wrong was done. He told me to sign it. He did not advise to me my legal recourse if I found anything done illegal. I was under the impression that because I signed it and was screwed even when I had found solid proof. I tried to move on and when I found out I could have done something the statute of limitations prevented me from doing so.
