John Busch assists clients and practices in all areas of insurance litigation, including general liability and casualty, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort, and data security. John has litigation experience in both state and federal court, and has provided counsel at all phases of litigation and trial.John regularly represents corporations and individuals in a wide range of personal injury litigation from initial case development to trial. Whether it be product manufacturers to premises owners, John has assisted clients in defense of all types of personal injury claims.Notably, John brings unique experience in the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy field, as he successfully litigated a data breach case of first impression in the Fifth Circuit. Through effective motion practice, John was able to advocate for the dismissal of Plaintiff’s putative class-action cyber-security lawsuit involving a hospital system which experienced an alleged data breach. John advocates for his clients and continues to stay current in the developing field of cyber security.In Toxic Tort, John has represented several international and national corporations, including product manufacturers, in toxic tort matters ranging from asbestos to benzene exposure. John has worked to effectively defend and counsel clients through toxic tort complex litigation.John graduated from Baylor Law School in 2014, where he served on the Baylor Law Review, was inducted into the Baylor Order of the Barristers, selected as a member of the Baylor Mock Trial Team, and elected as the Baylor Law School Student Representative to the Texas State Bar.John also served as a Federal Judicial Intern to the Honorable Marcia A. Crone for the United States District Court- Eastern District of Texas.While at Texas A&M, John was a member of the Corps of Cadets and Company E-2. During his sophomore year, he was selected as the Mascot Corporal, the sophomore cadet who is the primary caretaker for the school’s mascot, Reveille VIII. Following this experience, John was elected by the student body as both a Junior and Senior Yell Leader.
