About
Attorney John Brandte comes to the law with a unique set of skills and experience. In 1979, he started in corporate finance at Xerox Corporation in Rochester, New York. He brought with him a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester. Since then, he has worked at both large and small firms. John has successfully engaged in a variety of analytical, forecasting and management challenges, and has held positions including Assistant Controller, Vice President of Marketing, and Division Vice President. Then, more recently, John believed that his father was being unnecessarily held in an institution by his step-mother and her two children from a prior marriage. After retaining an attorney in Florida, he moved his father to New Hampshire to live with him. Eventually, there were three law suits in two states in an attempt by the step-people to regain control of his father. All three law suits eventually failed. During this time, John’s father encouraged him to become an attorney. Eventually, he agreed with his father, applied to UNH School of Law, was accepted, and on graduation was awarded the 2014 American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence. During his second semester of law school, in a suit naming both his father and him, he wrote and successfully argued a motion to dismiss. John is now an active member of the New Hampshire and Federal Bar Associations.

As a client of attorney brandt, I found him honest and knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend attorney brandt to anyone who is looking for an attorney who can explain legal issues in a way that all involved could understand. He is down to earth and easy to talk with about all concerns you may have .
Though LAW is pretty much "black&white" (assuming, all have a conscience)... there are some shades of gray, too. Out of the three attorneys who responded to my question concerning the will of my step-father... Mr. Brandte explained to me about "special circumstances". He said he would do a little research and get back to me. He did exactly that. My intuition tells me that Mr. Brandte loves his work. He enjoys HELPING people. If I there were a need for me to hire an attorney for representation... I would definitely hire John Stephen Brandte. I wish more had his integrity. Thank you, John.
