My name is Colleen, and I have recommended John Bielski to clients that have hired him and we very pleased with his services. Some people need in depth descriptions of their real estate transaction and John takes time to explain the details. Will continue to recommend him.
My wife and I have formally used John for three separate items: 1) a residential real estate closing; 2) incorporating my wife's business and developing client contracts; 3) reviewing and negotiating a commercial lease for my business. He has been amazing to work with, up front with his pricing and willing to go above and beyond to answer questions (I tend to be a demanding client). I refer John to all my friends and family and will continue to do so. Thanks John!
John worked with my grandma a couple years before she died to get her trust in place. When she finally did pass, John was there to take care of all the issues needed to take care of the trust. John was very kind and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend John.
John was great. He drafted the wills and trusts that my husband and I needed after my son was born. His fees were reasonable and he was very accommodating and responsive. He met us after work on two separate occasions and quickly drafted the requested documents before our upcoming vacation. He is not only an attorney but also a CPA so we received invaluable tax advice related to our estate plan as well. I have referred many friends to him and will continue to send my friends and family to him for their estate and probate matters.
Pros: * Seems to bill honestly * Seems ethical Cons: * Was extremely unresponsive to client communications * Was slow to provide copies of correspondence. * Has insufficient support staff. * Seems to have too many open files and too much going on. Spread too thin. * Ignored direct, specific instructions. * Seemed reactive as opposed to proactive. Seemed to always be playing defense as opposed to finding and exploiting opportunities to solve problems proactively. * Failed to timely communicate messages received from opposing counsel. * Filed pleadings containing numerous spelling and grammatical errors. In the end, I had to terminate Bielski and have someone else handle the matter for me.
Hired John Bielski for a court case against my former business partner. Bielski did not keep me informed and it cost much more than he promised it would. The lawyer that my old business partner had was a much better lawyer. I fired Bielski and found a new lawyer to fix the case. Cannot recommend Bielski at all.
Read Mr. Bielski's web site and you feel confident you are getting someone who will work for you for a fair wage, who has the knowledge and experience to win cases, who will communicate with you regularly, who will respond to your questions/concerns, who will provide you with timely billings, who will fight to meet your expectations for case resolution and you get NONE of these things. Mr. Bielski answers only the questions he wants, when he wants, if he wants. He makes decisions that drag out your case so he can bill you more hours even though he posts N/C for incidentals like reading an email. It took him 1 1/2yrs to settle an estate where we were obviously wronged, and he admitted such. He got us nothing for that and cost us the estate's attorney fees and charged us over $12k for an estate we ended up receiving only 33k from. Do not trust a word he has written on his website. He does not provide the service he describes. Do not hire Mr. Bielski and expect to win your case or to receive timely, fair, or expert services.
