I am a business owner and I am not in the State of Utah. I am many states away from Utah. I believe this is one reason possibly why I had the terrible experience I had with John Bailey of Daines and Smith. I hired Mr. Bailey after finding him on google. He was listed as a civil litigation attorney which is what I needed to hire. I paid Mr. Bailey the retainer he asked for. He drew up the summons and complaint and the facts were not even correct, nor did he fix them. Communication was ok in the very very beginning, but after a short period of time Mr. Bailey refused to answer my calls or return my calls. I ended up losing a case which was a substantial dollar amount because Mr. Bailey was not honest with me. He waited 3 days before the trial to finally "text message" me. He wouldn't even call me on the phone to discuss the trial or the case. He failed to give me advice or any other options. I consulted with other attorneys after I hired Mr. Bailey who represented me. I was told by these lawyers to contact the IDAHO bar association. (this case was in the State of Idaho, which is where John Bailey is also licensed.) I am happy to discuss with anyone all details of this case and how I was represented. Do not hire this attorney. I promise you, that you will have a terrible experience.
