John is an Associate Attorney in the South Sound offices of GLP Attorneys. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced personal injury law for 16 years with the firm of Howell & Thornhill, P.A. in Winter Haven, Florida. Mr. Acken graduated from the University of Florida and earned his Juris Doctorate from Drake University in 1997. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender for the 10th Judicial Circuit of Florida where he served as a Felony Trial Division Chief Attorney.
