My son had an accident in Jan 2015, you probably remember that winter full of snow storms. He was taken to Children's Hospital from the accident scene. When I contacted Law Office of Joel Schwartz, they assured me that they have many years of experience and would be able to get a settlement promptly. A year passed by, today is 3/21/2016 and I still keep emailing them on a weekly basis to check if there is any progress with getting a final check. Just to illustrate my experience: when I talked to them a year ago, I explained that my son's iPhone got damaged in the accident. They assured me that this should be covered separately as property loss. Then they asked me to keep it in case adjuster wants to see it. Then they asked me to give them the receipt for the damaged phone and the receipt for the new phone that we purchased to replace it. Then they told me that the insurer is not going to cover this at all. My experience with them is extremely bad, I am still waiting for my check to come in. It's very likely that other people had completely different experience, but I just felt like I need to share.

Sorry I trusted this crew. After all the business personally and referrals I gave these users over the years. The pressure to settle "cash in" their professional word or get a doctor to clear you. Several phone calls a week to pressure you was threatening. I was declared disabled by all parties ssd, dia judge and all doctors. These charlatans kept telling me to take any return to work deal and stop weekly checks your using up the settlement money. I fired these bums. Stay away from them.

The attorney was Tim Pope, the head of the Social Security Disability Group and his wonderful team member paralegal Lynne Wax. Lynne did an outstanding job from initial consultation to the filing of my SSDI application.
