I hired Attorney Smith to represent me on an OUI Drugs case. The police lied in the report against me. Attorney Smith evuentually got my case dismissed!!! He was a very knowledable attorney and provided me with his personal cell phone number in the case I had any questions. He's the man!!!

Attorney Smith represented me in a trial involving a false claim of rape and violations of a restraining order. He was very prepared and I was found not guilty of everything! He treated me like family! I recommend anyone looking to hire a lawyer to hire him!!!

Joe Smith is a fighter, and had a case dismissed for my brother. He was very prompt with return calls, and very professional. Definitely would hire again

Joe Smith is the kind of lawyer that is more concerned about your case than his fee ... and that is reasonable for the work he puts in. Joe knows the law, especially criminal defense, and he is a fighter. He was able to get my charges dismissed even after I had been arrested. Highly recommended. Oh, and whatever you do, DON'T TALK TO THE POLICE .... not a word. My advice, not necessarily his.

We have left messages for Joe Smith and never got the courtesy of a phone call. He insisted on a payment which we gave up front. He has three different addresses on websites. We have written and have all been returned. We still need his help in this case but no contact. What is one to do???

Atty Smith was hired about a year ago to help resolve a criminal matter. He did not keep in contact with me regarding my case or what was happening. I didn't understand why things were delayed and continued so often because he did not show up at court. He didn't call me to explain but called the court. While my case was being continued again because he could not make it to court on my scheduled date, two of my jobs put me on leave and did not rehire me. Another attorney was kind enough to step in and help me. When I went to Smith's office because he would not answer texts, emails, or phone calls, he threw me out. The new attorney handled the issue within a week of being hired. I think if Smith was still my attorney i would still be waiting for a call back. Definitely do not pay him ahead. Once he is paid in full for your case- which he will insist before taking action, he will do nothing and you will be stuck wondering what to do with no money and no legal advice from your attorney. I feel I was conned and the humiliation of being treated like I had done something wrong when I was compensating for his unprofessional conduct in not returning calls or keeping me informed was unnecessary.

As of today Joe is supposed to be representing my husband in a superior court criminal matter I have been leaving messages on his his machine for several months asking him to call me back as my husband is currently in a federal prison and needs to see his lawyer but have not received even the courtesy of a call back never mind a letter to my husband explaining the his case as I was promised would be sent to him back in November This case was opened on January of 2012 and is still ongoing not sure where we stand at this point due to him not returning any calls. So good luck!!
