About

Brandy Wisher primarily practices family law, representing clients in all aspects of of domestic relations proceedings, including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, property distribution, maintenance and spousal support, the allocation of parental responsibilities, child support and college expenses, post-dissolution enforcement and modification proceedings, and parentage actions.  Brandy counsels her clients with knowledge and compassion throughout all stages of their cases, including during settlement negotiations and at court appearances and in other adversarial settings throughout litigation. Brandy has been an Associate Attorney at Grund & Leavitt, P.C. since August 2019. Brandy received her Juris Doctor degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and was subsequently admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2015. Prior to joining Grund & Leavitt, P.C., Brandy worked at another Chicagoland family law firm.  Brandy also clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Child Support Enforcement and the Juvenile Delinquency Divisions. She also clerked for Prairie State Legal Services, where she provided legal services to low-income persons with legal problems involving family law, guardianship, and housing law. While in law school, she was an associate editor for the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. Brandy is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.
