Joan was phenomenal! From the first meeting she was professional and showed concern for my situation. She was always straight forward and clear in what was the best direction to take in my case. I always felt like I was a priority and she was quick to answer any questions or concerns. She helped me navigate through a difficult situation and never faltered in her abilities. I owe her a great deal of gratitude for help in getting my kids back in a stable and safer environment.
Joan Cook is a diamond in the field of family law. There are many rough and tumble personalities out there, and few shining stars who truly know their craft and practice law the way it was meant to be. From the onset when we retained Mrs. Cook, we knew we hired someone with great integrity, wisdom and class. Truly, if you are fortunate enough to have her on your side, you will be supported and feel quite relaxed at a most stressful time of your life. Joan, Jami and the team do things right and they fight for justice.
After speaking with several lawyers who told me that I didn't have a case, I called Joan with very little expectation of any different legal advice from what I had already received. To my surprise, Joan was encouraging and immediately engaged in my case. She had a specific plan on how to move forward, and she made potentially complicated issues seem simple and easily dealt with. Joan and her team were more than willing to answer any question, were consistent in communicating any pertinent information to me, and I was always kept aware of anything happening with my case. She was reassuring and supportive throughout, attentive to any concerns I may have had. The outcome to this case was exactly as Joan had said it would be, and I will be forever grateful that to have retained her as my lawyer. If I ever need a lawyer again, Joan Cook will be the one that I call.
Joan and all of her team did a wonderful job helping my husband with his case. They were on top.of everything and ultimately helped us come to a agreement that works for all parties involved. I would recommend her for any difficult case. Overall she was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Thank you Joan
Joan Cook and her team have gone above and beyond to help us with our adoption of my two wonderful step-sons. I have recommended Joan to everyone that I have come in contact. She helped fight to get our case to stay in Montana, where we reside instead of having to move back to Tennessee. She has kept us up to date on all of court dates and made sure we were aware of things going on. She has been so helpful and understood about all of my emails to ask for any updates since I am an impatient person. I will use her for any future court issues that may arise.
Joan did an excellent job representing me! She fought hard for me and my son and I feel she truly believes in my case. She understands the emotional piece to these kinds of cases and is sensitive to that. She is level-headed and practical as well and is always available to give her solid, trust-worthy legal advice. I am so glad I was able to hire Joan as my attorney, after several negative and disappointing experiences with other attorneys. Only wish I had found her sooner!
I hired Ms.Cook she was very unprofessional and she didn't do anything with my divorce case, she also said I had to talk to my husband, I wouldn't trust her.
I hired Joan for some parenting plan issues I was having after my divorce. I hired her to help resolve the issues at hand. Instead what I got was an attorney that would tell me to contact my ex and try and resolve things that way instead of taking action on my behalf. After Joan saw the issues repeating themselves, I asked to bring this in front of a judge. Joan dismissed my issues and problems and request to take the problems in front of a judge. Instead of putting an end to my issues, I struggled through an entire year with my ex payed several thousands of dollars in attorney fees only to be in the same place that I was in when I hired her. She was also very unprofessional at times when she got frustrated. Needless to say, I like anyone paying someone over $200/hr to do a job became frustrated with her lack of action and results. She eventually quit after milking my account for an entire year. A client is her customer and the one paying her and you'd think she would be professional enough not to get frustrated and mad at her customer who she is suppose to be helping and looking out for. Clearly not someone you want to go to when she doesn't care about you and your struggle and the battle when it comes to your children.
She didn't not keep me informed about anything that was going on, made agreements with other parties lawyers a=without my approval! She informed us how procedures go in child visitation but didn't total opposite, which left me in shock as after doing much research from her work here and in another town didn't expect this kind of service!
