About
I began my legal career in Denver, Colorado where I practiced in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, employment discrimination, civil rights and contracts. I was also the acting public defender in the City of Lakewood, Colorado wherer I represented indigent defendants charged with various crimes including but not limited to Domestic Violence, Assault, Harassment and Criminal Mischief. One of my passions is Juvenile Defense and I act as court-appointed counsel for juveniles in Weld in Larimer County. In addition I am a Guardian ad Litem for juveniles in Weld County truancy cases. I have four grown children and two grandchildren. I am an avid horse person and live with my husband on 35 acres in the mountains outside Loveland. We have five horses, four dogs and three cats. I am currently on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Horse Rescue and devote my time to raising money for horses that need to be rescued.
