About
My practice is focused solely on handling consumer bankruptcy cases. Prior to law school, I worked for a bankrutpcy attorney in Fort Worth, TX as a paralegal, and during law school, I worked for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. I believe this experience gives me an added perspective in handling bankruptcy cases, and I make every effort to make sure your paperwork is complete and correct to ensure a smooth process and succesful outcome. My knowledgeable assitant and I work with you directly. We understand that filing is a big decision, and is often caused by various stressful situations in your life. We try to make the process as stress-free as possible as we understand that we are serving real people, not just handling cases. Feel free to contact me for a consultation at no charge!

Ms. Collins is simply amazing at representing her clients!! She provided so much care, compassion and professionalism during a very difficult time in my life. She puts all of her masterful skills and effort into leading clients through a confusing process and makes it understandable. I recommend her without hesitation!! Thank you again Ms. Collins and your team!! You truly have given me a fresh start and relieved so much stress and worry!!
I just can't say enough about Jill and her staff! They made this process so very easy, and were supportive throughout the entire process. If I had a question, they were there to answer it. My husband and I were so very pleased to find this great lawyer. If you need help with your bankruptcy, I recommend her highly!
Jill is very knowledgeable and helpful with making hard decisions. She helped us through a tough time and assured us it would work out well. Her advice was spot on, her office was great to work with and everything turned out just like she said it would. I recommend Jill to anyone needing legal help and advice.
Jill is extremely professional and emotionally supportive. Bankruptcy is a terrible thing to go through, but she is reassuring, calm, non-judgemental, and full of information. She makes sure that she explains every single option available and overall, she's just extremely personable and respectful of everyone. She is organized, up-to-date on everything, and seems to have all the time in the world to answer any questions. Jill is prompt in returning calls and I never had to wait in her office more than five minutes. Her knowlege of the field is excellent, but it's her personal integrity and empathy for others that really sets her apart.
I was stressed out trying to find an attorney for my bankruptcy, she took 45 minutes with me FREE and took time to tell me the differences and in the different Chapters and helped me decide which way to go. She didn't rush me in and out like all the others. I hope i never have to use her again, but if by some chance I would need to, she would be the one.
Jill is a good attorney, but I have found that chemistry and rapport are key when it comes to working with an attorney. This goes for any attorney in any legal field. You want to like the process of working with someone who is in a position to speak and act on your behalf. Jill will get the job done for you but make sure that whoever you work with on your bankruptcy case that you feel a certain professional chemistry with the attorney you're hiring. She answered my e-mails and phone calls (I sent mostly e-mails) consistently. There were times I felt that Jill could've made more of an effort to clearly answer my questions. Also I remember there was one instance where she made a mistake but didn't say sorry; she was late to court. She wasn't being mean about it but I think she just forgot or she just didn't want to say it. Not a huge deal but little things do matter when it comes to building that rapport. Best wishes on your search for an attorney!
