About
I was born and lived in Prince George's County until graduating high school and then relocated to Anne Arundel County where I currently reside. I believe in giving back to the community and volunteer my time by participating in Wills for Heroes, a pro bono program created after September 11, 2001 to provide first responders and their families with essential estate planning documents. I also volunteer once per quarter at the family law office in the Howard County Circuit Court giving free legal advice to low income litigants.I have worked exclusively in the family law arena since graduating law school and truly enjoy helping and advocating for my family law clients. I am the child of divorced parents and one of five daughters in a blended family. I am divorced myself, and a step-mom, so I understand the challenges parents and children face as a result of divorce and why, when our most personal relationships are at stake, that litigation is not always the best process to resolve family issues. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your family law situation and help you determine what resolution process is best suited to your case.

Jessica was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She helped me tremendously and I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking a divorce attorney.
Jessica was very helpful in giving me direction and pause in my separation with my wife. I would think we may move forward with a formal divorce in coming years, but I am happy with current arrangement
Jessica helped me through the whole custody process. She assured me, made me feel confident of the outcome and her ability and knowledge. I loved her honesty and gave me all the best options for my case. She made her self very available, and was a pleasure to talk to and work with. I recommend her for any person who has to go through a divorce or custody arrangement. under her legal advice and skill, i now have custody rights to my children and am able to build better relationships to them. Thank you Jessica
My boyfriend and I initially found Jessica on this site and had a consultation with her. We hired her for a relatively complex divorce and custody case. She worked tirelessly to fight on our behalf and ensure that we had the Discovery documents and information to support our claims. She was very responsive through the entire process and we always felt we were in good hands. She did every single thing she said she would. She truly had our best interests at heart and helped us reach a settlement, rather than push us to go to trial (which would have made her more money!). She is very intelligent, empathetic, organized, and motivated to help you. We are so happy with how our case proceeded and thrilled with the results. We would recommend her without reservation.
I having nothing to say other than she was great and very supportive during the whole entire time. She gave very sound, logical and practical legal advice throughout the process. Plus, she always made sure to take into account my children in every step of the way.
I have worked with Jessica Zadjura twice. Ms. Zadjura was honest, fast and financially as fair as the law would allow her. She got the ball rolling immediately for my separaration, and my modification, which so worked in my favor. I could count on honest and clear explanation regarding each step of my cases and was never expected know attorney jargon. I would not hesitate to hire ms. Zadjura in the future if need be.
I found this law firm on the internet. I was impressed with the information I found in a booklet regarding Divorce on the firm's web page. I had hired an attorney to handle my divorce that I was not happy with and decided to look for a new attorney. I was impressed with Jessica because she had a list of things that she needed to work on to help me with my case the very first time that I met her in the office. I gave her copies of the information that she requested on my second meeting and she started working on my case right away. She wrote a letter to my former attorney telling him that I had hired her to replace him and then she started gathering the other information that she needed to get started. She was very efficient and only called me or e-mailed me when she needed to. She got things done and I trusted her completely. Every time we had to go to Court she was on time. Whenever I had questions, she answered them right away. I am so glad that I found that web page with the Divorce booklet on it. It was not long before I got the results that I wanted. I was also very happy with the law firm because they cared about me not just about money.
My ex wife and I have been divorced for 4 years last year. In our divorce decree it stated the custody schedule would be re-evaluated once my son had entered the 1st grade. It went from seeing him once every other Saturday to me having my son every other weekend. Once we transitioned into this new schedule it was suggested that we would review the schedule after six months to see how my has son reacted. Six months later, it was suggested that my ex and I should have 50/50 custody. After hearing this my ex stormed off and everything went downhill. My ex believes that my values, concerns, and judgement are insignificant. She didn't like my wife or my stepchildren. She would come to my house in a hostile manner and show this behavior in front of my son as well as my stepchildren. She kept accusing my family of abusing my son. She kept my son away from me and would tell him the worst things possible about me. I attended two mediation sessions with her and she practically wanted me to give up my rights. There was no reasoning with her. So I hopped online and found Arn family law. After talking to Jessica, she made me feel confident and secure that I will be able to get more time with my son. She also assured me that I would have a written schedule that would help eliminate the stress that I was enduring. After my ex was served she hires one of the most expensive law firms in Howard County. I wanted shared custody and my ex countered and wanted sole custody of our son. I was nervous because my ex and I had polar opposite views, but Jessica reassured me that everythimg would be fine. Before our mediation with Jessica pretty much gave me realistic expectations of the session. If the mediation went right then we wouldn't have to go to court. Everyone was tired, but my ex was still resistant. Her lawyer advices her that if she wouldn't agree then we would have to go to court and waste money and time. Jessica had my best interest in mind as well as my sons. When it seemed like my ex would lie, Jessica was able to find the truth. Fathers usually lose a lot in these cases and are overlooked. Jessica ensured that I would get realistic expectations and fight for my rights as a father. You would think once court documents were signed the madness would stop. However, my ex thinks she's above our court orders and refused to follow them. I contacted Jessica again and she follwed up with my ex's attorney. Let's just say my ex has no problem following our court orders now.
Sometimes life comes at you with a kick to the head. We hope it never will but so,etimes it just does. When that happens you need someone with the same values and integrity you have plus knows what to do and how to do it. I lucked into having Jessica represent me. Jessica's expertise and commitment to me was the difference in bringing a bad situation to conclusion. Hopefully by making this recommendation, others will be able to find Jessica and get the same support without resorting to luck!
I secured Ms. Zadjura services through the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the purpose of obtaining a divorce. Although my case was pro bono, the service she provided me was excellent and always done in an impeccably professional manner. She completed all task in a timely manner with EXCEPTIONAL attention to details. She demonstrated a superior knowledge of the law. She kept me informed and up to date on the status of my case at all times. She demonstrated a dedication to her profession and the work she was doing for me. Ms. Zadjura was respectful, kind and compassionate at all times. I would highly recommend her and would do so with complete confidence that she would provide the same quality services to anyone she might represent.
