Brett joined the firm Ferree, Bunn et al. as an associate in 2013. He is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri state and federal Courts, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.Brett received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2008 (English & History). During his last semester Brett won the English Alternative Theatre’s annual “Final Four” one-act playwriting competition with his play Eli Touched, Whitney Ginned.Before attending law school, Brett worked for a government-consulting firm, E-Fm Integrated, in Lawrence as a research associate drafting natural hazard mitigation plans for county governments in Kansas.He graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 2013 with Dean’s Honors, finishing 16th in his class. While at Washburn Law, Brett received top papers in Legal Analysis, Research, & Writing II, Secured Transactions, and Law & Literature. His comment, ACCA Residual Clause: Strike Four?
