The visitation was expanded for my ex-husband so they boys have more time with him, and I was able to clear up many of the financial issues and right to designate primary residence concerns. She was also quite capable of dealing with step-parents who overstep boundaries; she is good about reinforcing the idea that the role of a step-parent is to step up and not step in. While I didn't have her as someone who was representing me personally, I can honestly say that she was accurate in her predictions about how a recommendation would pan out in a family courtroom as an amicus, and there is no doubt in my mind that she would make a fantastic attorney for a client, as well as an effective mediator. She was fantastic, truly, and I am so, so thankful that the judge appointed her.

I just found out that absolutely none of my final orders have even been filed. When we were in court, she was VERY late EVERY time, averaging about an hour at least every time. She was absolutely not prepared whatsoever when we were in court; and I had to help prepare her with court. VERY unprofessional!
