My son was charged with very serious drug charges and is from out of state. He was facing many years hard labor prison time. Attorney Fontenot said he could not make any promises. However, he would do his best, be transparent and communicate with us through out the process. During my son's incarceration, his 16 year old little sister died from Cancer. Attorney Fontenot took time away from his family vacation to notify the jail and have him brought out to receive the dreadful news so he could debrief away from others. Attorney Fontenot was extremely patient when explaining the law and processes. No matter how many times I called, texted or emailed he always made himself readily available and answered all our questions with the necessary details for our clear understanding. Attorney Fontenot never gave up fighting for my son and our family. Every single time he went to court for my son he gave it all he had and then some. His representation was well worth every red penny that was sacrificed and paid. I highly recommend Attorney Jerry Fontenot because of his high integrity, dedication and commitment to justice.
I felt the need to write this review because of a job exceptionally done. Here is my story.... I own a very fast sport bike and was issued a speeding violation that well exceeded (100 mph). I soon learned about how serious this is in St. Tammany Parish, pleading guilty, judge wanted to sentence me to a month in jail combined with a stiff fine and another proposed (120) hours community service along with the hefty fines. So of course I promptly retracted the guilty plea and hired Mr. Jerry Fontenot as my attorney for a very reasonable fee. He didn't promise anything at all "Except" that he would do his very best, in which he did. The final outcome after a short period, without me having to attend any court hearings, was a very minor fine and even got the ticket put under the "Article 894" where it wouldn't go against my insurance cost. In my opinion, that's simply "Amazing". In conclusion, my last statement will be that I don't have the need for legal representation often, BUT, I do have an attorney, and his name is Mr. Jerry Fontenot!
