About
Jerod Adler is a trial lawyer who focuses his litigation practice in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, and contract disputes. Prior to joining Barrett McNagny, Jerod served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Theresa L. Springmann, District Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, for two years.A member of the Allen County Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Cultural Heritage Preservation, Jerod grew up on a farm in rural Decatur and earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a youth. He enjoys outdoor activities and moonlights as a sports official in his spare time.Jerod received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Social Studies Education from Indiana State University in 2005. He was a President’s Scholar and Honor’s Program Graduate, as well as a member of Indiana State’s men’s varsity basketball team. Jerod received his M.S. in History from Indiana State in 2008 and is an alumnus of the Frank C. Munson Institute of American Maritime Studies at Mystic Seaport. Prior to attending law school, Jerod played professional basketball in Europe and, after his basketball career ended, he taught middle and high school social studies.Jerod received his J.D., cum laude, in 2013 from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, where he also served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Indiana Law Journal, Vol. 88, 2012-2013. Jerod is admitted to practice in all Indiana state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
