Jeremy has been my attorney for over 6 years on my family, custody and child support. I can't think of one time I was disappointed with our outcome. Over the years he has worked so hard on getting me what is not only fair, but what I ask for. He's open, honest, and always steered me in the right direction. He never missed a deadline to file something, and stayed in close contact with me throughout my cases. I'm overly pleased with his services, and will tell anyone details about the case, as they would be shocked over some of the things Jeremy has got me! If you're looking for an attorney who is open, honest, caring and will work as hard as you do for your kids, this is the guy for your custody case, same for any other family issue. Jeremy, you have no idea what you have done for me, and the extent of my happiness because of you. Thank you for everything over the years!!!
The first time I met with Jeremy, it was clear he was/is highly intelligent, well versed, confident and good at his job. His performance in the court room only further validated my first impressions. Jeremy has a presence about him that is commanding, convincing and believable. He represented me so well and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high quality representation.
I am so happy with the treatment I got from Jeremy. He is dependable, quick on his feet, and aggressive. He shines in the courtroom. I am so happy that I was referred to him and he handled my case. He does exceptionally well in dealing with DV victims and helping them standup to their abusers in a courtroom setting.
Jeremy helped me navigate through the very difficult legal aspects of my divorce. He displayed patience and expertise in dealing with a very difficult opposing attorney. Although we never went to trial, I would feel confident having Jeremy on my side if the need arose.
I have hired Jeremy as my attorney on two different occasions to represent me during extremely stressful situations. He was incredibly compassionate and took time to really listen to me. In addition, he was great about educating me about my options and empowering me to choose what felt best for me. Not only did I feel like he was an excellent advocate for me, but most importantly my child. Anytime I had questions or needed reassurance about our plan he was available and I never got the feeling that this was a hindrance to him. Jeremy went above and beyond as my attorney. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is in need of an educated, caring, and passionate attorney.
Jeremy just flat out doesn’t work. My ex wife’s lawyer was playing games and Jeremy didn’t even respond, resulting in additional court hearings and thousands of dollars of bills. He talks a good game but doesn’t actually deliver, or even respond. Run far far away. The dude is incompetent. Check his bar history for the state of Colorado.
Would strongly discourage retaining Mr. Schufflebarger. My experience evidence Tim as a professional who is both ill and formed and neglectful. He misguided me in accepting a legal agreemen, which resulted in irreparable professional damage. For several months, he dodged my attempts to contact him and, when contact was finally made and he was asked to rectify the situation, he replied that he did not handle such matters. Liability attorneys may be reluctant to file suit against him, citing that he does not carry professional liability insurance. I would offer strong caution to anyone seeking guidance or representation with important legal matters about using Mr Shufflebarger. My professional life is irreconcilable due, in part, to Mr Shufflebarger.
I hired Jeremy, after having a wonderful consultation with him, for my very complicated and high conflict child custody case. He presented to be extremely competent, understanding and knowledgeable. He had insight and I trusted his direction he thought would be best. Our communication quickly began to deteriorate, starting out with very delayed responses through email and almost never receiving phone calls back. I spent some time debating on whether or not to just deal lack of communication. I really didn’t want to go through the process of finding another attorney again, it’s emotionally taxing and time consuming. However, three days before my court hearing, I received an email notification from Jeremy stating that he’d “be away for vacation and would return” at a later date; which happened to be the day after my hearing. I fired Jeremy and luckily received my retainer back in a timely manner. It was a disappointing situation and I don’t think it had to be this way. Sadly, I cannot recommend Jeremy as an attorney, even though he seemed to be a go-getter and knowledgeable.
I hired Mr. Shufflebarger after reviewing his website and a consultation. Mr. Shufflebarger regularly took more than a week to respond to emails, and often required a phone call to get engaged. It often took the same amount of time (or longer) to be notified of correspondence received from my wife's attorney. He did not provide consistent advice. He billed me for reviewing letters which when questioned could not provide any background as to the contents of the letter. On more than one occasion drafted proposals with thousands of dollars in accounting mistakes to my detriment.
