I am Jerry Novak and I opened Jerry Novak & Associates to help people deal with the stress and legalities associated with DUI and criminal defense. I provide legal advice and representation for people charged with their first DUI or people who have been charged with multiple DUI offenses. I have significant experience handling issues related to DUI defense, Secretary of State Reinstatement Hearings, suspended or revoked driver licenses, and other criminal defense matters. A majority of my DUI clients come from Lake County and northern Cook County, Illinois including the cities of Grayslake, Waukegan, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Libertyville, Mundelein, Gurnee, and Vernon Hills. As a former Assistant State’s Attorney and as a private defense attorney, I have handled cases as simple as a traffic violation and as serious as murder. I hold a license to practice law in all Illinois State Courts and all Federal Courts including the U.S. Supreme Court. I have been previously licensed to practice law in Washington D.C. and the U.S. Tax Court. I have lectured at professional seminars for Alcohol and Drug Counselors including NICASA and IODAPCA. I have been recognized as a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. I have also been a participating member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. I have taught law and business courses at the college level. I hold a J.D. from the John Marshall Law School and a Bachelors Degree from Northeastern Illinois University. I got charged with a Class A Misdemeanor for Aggravated speeding.I was hit with going to 107 on a 65.I reached out Jerald Novak Associate,gave some initial info and received call back from Jerald very quickly. He was able to tell me the possible outcomes,what to expect,and how everything would be handled.What I most impressed by was that he was able to reduce my charges and after six mounts supervision -keeping my record clean.Jerald is an outstanding lawyer.I am very grateful for what he and his assistant Masha were able to do for me.I definitely referring him to my friends and family.Thank You so much for everything!
