About
I have a longstanding commitment and passion for social justice and the rights of ‘the little guy.’ During law school, through additional studies and pro bono work, I earned a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law. My legal background includes Consumer Bankruptcy, Animal Law, Employment Law, and Environmental Law. Currently I run a law practice offering consumer bankruptcy representation to people who, for one reason or another, have found themselves in difficult financial situations. My love for bankruptcy law was born of my desire to stop abusive actions by creditors- nobody deserves to be harassed and everybody deserves a fresh financial start. On a personal note, I live in San Diego with my husband and small petting zoo – we have three wonderful cats and two adorable bunnies.

Jennifer Moral impressed me from the moment I set foot in her office. She was professional, articulate, extremely knowledgeable, yet non-threatening, warm, and personable. Ms. Moral kept the lines of communication open via email, phone, and mail in a very timely manner whether she was supporting me in the bankruptcy process, or responding to one of my many questions. Her explanations of the procedures required were to-the-point and put in layman's terms, which I appreciated. Without hesitation, I would recommend Jennifer Moral to a friend or relative seeking debt relief.
Jenni was a wonderful choice to hire for my case. She kept me informed throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to assist me through this stressful time. Jenni handled all "outside interference" from the moment I hired her and kept things calm. I definitely did not feel like I was just "another client" and Jenni will be the first attorney I recommend to friends for debt relief matters.
Ms. Jennifer Morel was very responsive and accomodating during the time that we were getting our paperworks completed for filing of Ch 7 on our behalf. She was ready for us during our appointments and precise in what she wanted from us. Communication lines were always open as she worked on the intricacies of the case. What was accomplished at the discharge of our case was a clear reflection of Ms. Morel's admirable work habits, professionalism and thorough knowledge of the profession. Such display of fine character merits recommedation to others for more business as she is some one that can be trusted in such line of work.
Ms. Morel has been extremely helpful with helping me to work through a difficult bankruptcy. Not only has she displayed a very thorough knowledge required for dealing with bankruptcy in San Diego, CA, she has been very pleasant to work with and frequently keeps me updated on how things are progressing. She has been very good at explaining to me what I needed to do to get through my bankruptcy as well as helping me to deal with the personal indignation I have been going through when having to deal with a feeling of failure. I think that when it comes to hiring an attorney, some people think it is very hard, to near impossible, to find an honest one. Maybe I am a bit biased when it comes to fellow animal rescuers, like Ms. Morel.
Mrs. Morel has been such a God send for me! I utilized her free consultation to discuss potential options. Chapter 13, Chapter 7...I had NO idea what this meant. I just know I needed help. While it was not in my best interest to file for bankruptcy at this time, Mrs. Morel provided the guidance and assistance I needed. I had so many questions and misconceptions regarding bankruptcy and she took the time to discuss my questions and concerns so that I felt comfortable with my decision. I now have a much better understanding of bankruptcy. I actually called some of the bigger firms here in San Diego before I got in touch with Mrs. Morel. I will never call them again. First, I felt I was inconveniencing them with my questions. Secondly, I felt like a complete idiot. I hadn't the first clue about bankruptcy and although they say "there is no stupid question," I was made to feel as though that was all I was asking. When I first spoke with Mrs. Morel, she was patient, understanding, and didn't make me feel stupid! After I met with her, I was even more thankful for her being placed in my path. When the time comes for me to take the next step, I will, without a doubt, be contacting Mrs. Morel to help me through the process! And I would not hesitate at all to recommend her to any of my friends or family.
