About

I am a partner at TLD Law. My practice focuses on assisting fiduciaries and businesses both in litigation and in formulating best practices to prevent litigation. I have extensive experience in probate and trust litigation including with contested fiduciary accountings, breach of fiduciary duty claims, Will or Trust contests, and financial elder abuse. Additionally my prior experience in family law has given me unique expertise in dealing with community property issues that arise in both contested and uncontested conservatorships, estate and trust matters and business management. All of these skills and experience in seeing the various causes and contributors to litigation in these areas, has added to my ability to advise clients with their own estate planning needs and in uncontested probate and trust administrations and conservatorships. My litigation skills have additionally assisted fiduciary and business clients with employment law issues, business disputes and real estate concerns. I am certified in information privacy technologies which helps me guide clients over the ever changing landscape of information and data privacy laws. This includes review and guidance on business privacy policies, terms & conditions, CCPA compliance and breach notifications. My experience in privacy law, commercial operations and employment law also lends itself to defending website accessibility claims.I joined TLD Law in 2005, after graduating from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. There I externed with the Western Law Center for Disability Rights (now known as the Disability Rights Legal Center). At Loyola, I also received First Honors in Legal Ethics and remained at the top of my class through graduation. Over my years of practice, I have guided many clients through both uncontested matters and prevailed for my clients at trial.I have taught legal theories and practices as an adjunct professor in the Paralegal Department of Cerritos Community College and continue my  own legal training and education through regular attendance at litigation seminars and estate & trust courses. I have additionally been selected to speak to professional groups on digital asset planning and emerging data privacy laws including the newly effective California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).I was President of the Southeast District Bar Association in 2012 and have served as a member of the board of trustees for the Southeast District Bar Association for over ten years. I work primarily out of the firm’s Long Beach and Downey, California offices.

Jennifer handled our case and we recieved a substantial settlement when it looked like there was no way it was going to be settled in our favor. She always did what was best for our family.
