I highly recommend attorney Jennifer Zorilla for assisting and guiding you through your disability claim. Jennifer was very professional and knowledgeable from day one until the day of my actual hearing. This was a very stressful experience for me until the day I met Jennifer. Jennifer put my mind at ease, what a blessing.
With having to wait for nearly a year before going in front of a Administrator Law Judge at a SSDI hearing. You better make sure that you hire the best Social Security attorney in San Diego. That would be Jennifer Zorrilla. Ms. Zorrilla is extremely knowledgeable, hard working and very thorough in making sure all of your medical files are submitted to the ALJ prior to your hearing. The work that she did on my pretrial Brief was amazing and the pretrial meeting prior to the hearing was so helpful, making the hearing way less onerous. Ms. Zorrilla never once failed to respond to all the numerous inquiries I made regarding my case. She always responded, usually the same day, with detailed explanations, keeping in constant touch with me through out the whole process. Because of Ms. Zorrilla professionalisms, knowledge of the Social Security system, vast experience dealing with the judges (ALJ), I was able to go through the year long process with peace of mind and confidence of winning my case. I highly recommend Ms. Zorrilla if you want to go into your hearing with the best chance of winning.
When I met Jennifer I felt immediately at ease. She is knowledgeable and friendly. I knew that my case would be handled competently and that I would be kept in the loop regarding the progress of said case. Through the long, drawn out process of waiting for a hearing date (huge localized number of cases makes wait time quite long!) Jennifer kept in touch, and was always available for questions. I am so pleased with the outcome of my case that I have referred my daughter to Jennifer.
From the first phone call to the last letter, Jennifer was on top of everything, reassuring and professional. She is an expert in Social Security Disability. I give her the highest recommendation! I would send friends and family to her. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.
I approached Jennifer after I got my first denial letter from Social Security. We met in March of 2013 to consult with me, looked at my records and told me if she felt I had a case or not. After looking over all the information I had she began telling us what steps would need to be taken to forward my case and how she and we would have to go about completing them. We went through a process that she made very easy for me. Most of the legwork was on her side; she was very active in getting the information Social Security was asking for and keeping me up to date on my part. She kept in contact with me via phone and email; I felt the entire time that she was competent and working towards me getting a favorable decision. When Social Security made a mistake with my case and my calls to them wouldn't fix it, I got another denial notice. Jennifer sat down with me to discuss the appeal process and how long it would take. No time during this wait did she make me any promises that she wouldn't be able to fulfill. And she gave me a timetable that sounded insane but was completely accurate on how long it would be before my case would go to hearing. In September 2014 my hearing came up and Jennifer was knowledgeable of the judge I would be facing to tell me what I could expect from him. In preparing me for the date she sat with me and went over what the process would be, who would be in the room, and why they would be there. While in the hearing Jennifer was on point: knew my case, my medical history, and my social ability. She was able to answer all the questions the judge asked without any hesitation or having to shuffle through my account. I received my fully favorable decision in November 2014 at which time Jennifer explained to me what more would happen. She offered me help in case I had any problems with my settlement even though my contract with her ended with my decision notice. I was impressed throughout the entire thing with her professionalism and support.
Jennifer has been extremely helpful and is very knowledgeable. She has assisted me with my case from near the beginning until the end when we succeeded in winning the case. I would strongly recommend Jennifer as she reviews the information in your case and knows exactly what to do and what information is relevant for the case. She keeps you informed along the way and is always quick to respond to any questions you have as well as working for you to assure the best outcome with the greatest return for what you deserve. She is honest, trustworthy, dependable and, has the endurance to work with you and your case until the end.
I would recommend Jennifer Zorrilla highly. She won my case when another lawyer wouldn't even bother taking my case. She is very knowledgeable and professional, and has a great attitude. She returned calls promptly, and was very informative when I had many questions. Plus she was friendly, and caring. I felt that I wouldn't win my case, but she gave me hope with her knowledge and experience. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for her help.
I received a SSI review/denial letter. I was very upset and spoke with my psychiatrist. He filled out the form, sent out the chart notes and told me to go to the meeting the had set up for me with one of their "teams". He assured me it would be alright. We we're both shocked when the denied my SSI. My psychiatrist had work with Jennifer on several other disability cases and called her while I was in his office. I met with her, she was kind, caring and very knowledgeable about we needed to do. I signed all the necessary form for her to get all the records she would need. She explained what the step by step process of what was going to happen. First step when turn in all the paperwork, reports. Doctors findings. And they review it and can over turn it at that time, or if not, it can move on to a judge, etc. Jennifer did such a thourgh job, that the decision was overturned at the 1st level. She was amazing. So caring about me as a person and my situation. She truly saved my life.
Atty Zorilla is somebody whom you can trust who will take care of your case to your best advantage..as if you are her family member. She is very knowledgeable on her area of expertise and provides detailed information to her clients regarding the nature of the case, possilbe outcome and options. My husband has tons of records dating back 15-20 years but she patiently reviews them and reviews the merits of the case. We just wish we have met her earlier- we could have avoided lost benefits resulting frol earlier rejections of our case.
I was a licensed attorney of the California Bar for over 20 years before I became unable to work due to disability. I graduated from one of the best law schools in the country; and after that, for over 20 years, I represented Fortune 500 companies in complex business transactions. Unfortunately, my world came crashing down on me when I became disabled and despite my advanced age and severe disability Social Security refused to award me benefits. I needed an attorney and my friends in Los Angeles did not know a good disability attorney in San Diego so I had to search for one with the help of my wife. My wife and I interviewed many disability attorneys before we selected Jennifer Zorrilla. As an attorney myself I knew I wanted an attorney with excellent experience. I also knew that I needed an attorney who was a caring person that I could trust and rely on to do a great job. As an attorney I could tell that the majority of the Disability attorneys I interviewed were unprofessional (that is putting it nicely). As a former attorney I can tell the difference between a first class attorney and a second rate attorney/hack, and I was surprised how many attorneys we interviewed were not acceptable. I believe that these second rate attorneys are only in business because consumers do not know any better. In my opinion, they take advantage of the fact that their clients simply are not sophisticated enough to know better. When my wife and I met Jennifer Zorrilla we knew immediately that she was not only highly professional, but also very experienced, and also, and most important, that she truly cares about her clients. The legal process is long and complicated and Jennifer Zorrilla fought for us every step of the way. In the end we won. I will put this very simply: if you need a great disability attorney who will be caring, and responsive, and protect your rights to the full extent, then simply hire Jennifer Zorrilla. I practiced law in California for over 20 years and I can tell you that you will be in the best of hands if you hire Jennifer Zorrilla to represent you in a disability legal mater. Finally, I would like to thank my wife who helped me write and post this review, and that my wife and I thank Jennifer from the bottom of our hearts for all the great work she did for us.

I highly recommend attorney Jennifer Zorilla for assisting and guiding you through your disability claim.
