Ms. Purcell represented me on my civil rights case against my employer where I was fired for being a whistleblower. We settled my case and I was really pleased with the outcome. She was awesome- she kept me informed and also involved me in the strategy. Previously, I had to have a lawyer before for my divorce, and another time for an issue where I was a defendant in civil court. Both times, the lawyers did not return my clals or let me know updates about my case. Ms. Purcell always updated me and responded to my questions. One note- I gave her 4/5 on responsiveness and keeping me informed because she's not incredibly responsive to phone calls, but responded to my emails really quickly. So, if you're a person that's ok with email communication, which I am, she's a good fit for you. But, if you are a person that needs to talk on the phone with your lawyer a lot or you don't know how to email, it might not be the best match. We did have many phone discussions, but they were scheduled in advance.

Jennifer was a great advocate for me in my discrimination case against my employer. She successfully defended me against a motion for summary judgment that the attorney for my company wrote to try to get my case dismissed. Also, she was very nice to me and explained things in a way I could understand. I was also really happy with my settlement and the resolution of my case (which is confidential based on my settlement contract).
