Was very clear and fought for me from day one. Guided me through the entire custody and divorce process. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an attorney who will be on your side. The ladies in her office are very polite and professional. Don't waste your money on some bargain attorney and be upset with the outcome. You definitely get what you pay for and more. Prices are more than fair. I hope I never have to use her again but if the need arises then she will be my first call.
I second the first review of Ms. Pope and also the warning given about Lana Warlick. Thankfully Lana only robbed my family of 300$ for a consultation that lasted all of 7-10 minutes. I find Ms. Pope is supportive, detail oriented, empathetic and a sincere attorney who will always give it to you straight without sugar coating anything. Ms. Pope and her wonderful staff (Jen & Casey) are very meticulous in keeping up with notes and fine details as well as very responsive, something which I value in my partnership with my attorney and definitely shows that her firm has your best interest at heart. Ms. Pope and her staff have been well worth their fees!! I would recommend this firm and not wasting value time and money around town trying others out, because in my opinion it’s just that a waste. There’s no one I would rather have fighting on my family’s behalf!
First let me say thank you. My first appointment to see Ms. Pope was for my divorce. I kicked myself everytime for not following my gut and retaining her as my attorney and I'll tell you why. I spilled out my whole sad divorce story to her while she patiently sat and listened. She was in no rush and sympathize with me and some of the spiteful and horrible things my ex spouse had done to myself and three children. Afterwards she asked questions, took notes then answered ALL of the millions of questions I had. She was upfront about her fees but it was not the first thing she spoke of. She is an attorney that I felt really comfortable with unlike others that are frigid and has a nasty disposition. Why I didn't choose her was because almost everyone said go with Lana warlick. Very stupid move on my part. DONT!!! PLEASE whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM LANA WARLICk she is inconsiderate, harsh, UNSYMPATHETIC and will YELL at her own clients to strongarm them into settling, did I mention money hungry?
Ms. Pope was eager and full of (verbal) promises when she wanted my $10,000 (up front) but as soon as she had the check, I was quickly forgotten. I had to send the same paperwork over and over. I was constantly correcting her. Her promises of how she would help me to get what I fairly deserved after a 30+ year marriage were suddenly not even on the table. She did nothing for me that I would not have been able to do on my own. There was no custody involved just a simple equitable distribution. I was required to take part in mediation that cost me $100/hour. Why the hell did I hire her? She gave me no direction of preparing for anything. I felt like I hired this woman to be Lana Warlick's whipping boy because she was terrified of defending me from that she-hound. I have never been so disappointed in my life. Biggest waste of money ever!
