I scheduled a session with the explicit agreement up front that Jen would be my attorney. Halfway through, she told me two of her junior staff would be taking my case. I had no say. She ended the working session early but charged the full amount. They were supposedly giving me the CARe discount, so I thought it was worth giving them the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong. When I checked in later about other fees, Jen changed them and didn't recall her original quotes. It was obvious that Jen and her team weren't attorneys I could count on. I let them know I was firing JLongtin Law and Jen Longtin informed me they'd "expedited" my case during a holiday week and gone through my entire retainer in the two days between the working session and the day I fired them.
