As an experienced trial attorney at the law firm of IRMEN LAW GROUP, LLC, Jennifer P. Irmen zealously prosecutes nursing home negligence and abuse, auto liability, medical malpractice, dog bite matters, sexual and physical assault cases, construction negligence, premises liability, and employment discrimination matters. Jennifer started her own practice almost four years ago, after practicing at a prominent plaintiffs firm for 3 years and defense firm for 8 years. While a defense attorney, Jennifer acted as the lead attorney for countless jury trials, bench trials, as well as ADR and arbitration proceedings involving premise liability, negligent hiring, dog bite, fire, auto and construction cases, all of which resulted in thirty not guilty verdicts in her favor. Jennifer has secured over $7 million dollars in settlements and verdicts for injured victims in a short time. Moreover, for the past six years, Jennifer has been an adjunct law professor for the nationally acclaimed legal writing program at The John Marshall Law School.Honors and AwardsLast year, Jennifer was named one of the Top Ten Emerging Women Lawyers by Leading Lawyers. Jennifer will also act as Chair of this Commitee's Legislation sub-committee. Most recently, she served as Financial Secretary of the WBAI in the 2016-2017 bar year and Treasurer in both the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 bar years. In her capacity as a director over the last eight years, Jennifer developed a fresh brand and logo for the WBAI as well as created a new marketing concept for the WBAI's website, publications, and other marketing pieces for which she received a Service Award from the WBAI's President during the 2009-2010 bar year. Jennifer co-chaired the WBAI's Annual Installation Dinner, its largest event, as well as the WBAI's Judicial Reception for several years. She also served as a liaison between the WBAI and the Women's Bar Foundation, an organization that is solely dedicated to raising money for student scholarships.
