About
As a management side employment attorney, I represent mostly small to mid-sized businesses. My goal is to use proactive measures, such as employee handbooks, policies, training and human resources "best practices" to keep my clients compliant with the law and avoid employment claims. If and when claims do arise, I represent my clients in administrative agencies (unemployment, workers' comp, EEOC, etc.) as well as litigate matters in state and federal courts. I am a Certified Specialist in Labor & Employment Law, and a partner with Petronzio Schneier Co., LPA. Together with my business law colleagues we offer businesses comprehensive legal services for all their business needs.

Jennifer reviewed our companies policies and helped us create a new employee manual, employee agreements, and processes for new hires and terminations. Every time we have a question she is there to answer the phone or email, put us at ease, and do what is best for both us and the employee. You cannot put a price on "peace of mind" and that is what we have thanks to her. If you are small business you do not know what you do not know. Those things can and will eventually hurt you. Jennifer knows!!!
I have heard Jennifer Corso speak several times, and I learn something new each time. Jennifer speaks with great authority on the subject of labor and employment law, and as a business owner, I appreciate her expertise. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Jennifer when addressing those business issues, and I have great confidence in recommending Jennifer to others. It’s reassuring to have a colleague like Jennifer.
Our church hired Jennifer to write an employee manual. Before we hired Jennifer, we were a lawsuit waiting to happen. She met with our Senior Minister, Office Manager and Personnel Committee and developed an all- emcompassing plan to cover our church. Attorney Corso reviewed our policies and procedures to make sure all aspects of employment were covered in detail. Every employee was presented with a copy of the employee manual and signed a receipt. As the President of the Church Council at the time, I slept a lot better knowing that Jennifer Corso had the experience necessary to craft our employee manual and protect our church from lawsuits. We have a number of attorneys that our members of our church, but none have the Employment Law experience that we needed for this project. Well done, Ms. Corso.
Although I am an attorney, I needed help with some employment issues for the firm. Jennifer is incredibly knowledgeable about her subject area and cuts to the heart of the issue quickly and efficiently handled what could have been a more heated situation. Having her beside me for the unemployment hearing was reassuring and effective. In addition, Jennifer is accessible beyond the 8-5 work day and called me back after hours on more than one occasion. She really goes above and beyond for the employers she represents. I recommend her services without reservation
