About
THE CURRENT LOVES OF MY LIFE - CHARLOTTE AND LAURIE Laurie is the one with the white chest and admiring herself in the mirror. They are rescue dogs. When Laurie was rescued she was pregnant and soon gave birth to 13 puppies -- 1 solid black, 3 or 4 black and white and the rest white with champaign ears. Her last puppy was adopted out on the day I got her. Charlotte is 2. Laurie is 5. They are wonderful and fill my home/office with joy and fun. OTHER HOBBIES AND AVOCATIONS I am a scrapbooker and I have all the gadgets. It helps me keep my right and left brains balanced. I am also a seminary student at Dallas Theological Seminary at the Houston Extension. I am working on a master's degree in Christian Education. Since all of the women in my family live to between 93 and 101, I am just preparing myself for the last third of my life.

I don't have the words to say how incredibly lucky I was to be referred to Jennifer. She is ethical, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Beyond that, though is where she makes such an impression. Jennifer is sincerely interested in the best interest of her client and worked for many years with me in a very sticky situation until it was finally resolved. Jennifer is and always will be a part of my whole family. My children all adore her, and as adults they appreciate what she did for us even more than they did at the time. Thank you, Jennifer.
Jennifer was the best lawyer I could have had. She stepped me through, coached me and supported me through a very difficult event. She was able to answer any questions that I ever had. It was very obvious that Jennifer was looking out for the best interest of my daughter and knew that that was the most important thing. She's GREAT at what she does.
In my first divorce, I was primarily at fault in the marriage ending, Jennifer was the opposing attorney. When the need for my second divorce arose, where I was not at fault in the marriage ending, I wanted Jennifer on my side based on my past experience against her on "the other side". Very knowledgable and explained the process each step along the way. Final decree and several appeals were handled very professionally. I was the father of a male toddler and was successful in gaining primary custody.
Jennifer was, quite simply, great. She represented me and my interests at all times, but did so with grace and understanding relative to the family situation that existed. She is so, so knowledgeable about family dynamics associated with divorce and child custody situations that it saved me a ton of time and heartache, and allowed me to in all situations make decisions that were responsible to myself and to my child. Ultimately, I was awarded custody of my child. Given the situation which my family was in, this was so, so great for my daughter. Jennifer places a very, very high value on being a responsible parent, and was able to negotiate not only the best conditions and arrangement for my daughter and myself, but was also able to work within the limitations of our familial estate. I am so greatful for her expertise and for her ability to mix superb legal work with the human dynamics that were ongoing in my situation.
Bull Dog, Tentative, Detailed, Professional, Knowledgable are some of the Characteristic I've found with working with Ms. Broussard. When needing to get Child Support after no support for years. Ms. Broussard's name was give by my Girls Scout Leaders I network with. She has helped me when hope for support was lost. I have recommended her to family members and many friends that find need of a someone in law. I score her a 10.
Jennifer is a great person and awesome attorney. She helped me immensely through a difficult divorce. Her expertise in collaborative family law kept me grounded in working through both the financial and personal aspects of divorce. In my case collaborative divorce was not possible and she vigorously fought for my interests through the many twisted tactics my former spouse employed. She has not only experience but both a high I.Q. and E.Q. and guided me me through the mine (mind) fields of the divorce process. When it was time to tell me to back off on things that I was missing the true meaning and value of she did; and when it was time to fight like a junkyard dog she proved more than effective. I am truly thankful she was my attorney and not opposing counsel.
Jennifer patiently worked with me and my ex husband to try to get an agreement without a lot of useless fees. Finally, when my husband was being difficult, she got firm. He signed the papers that day. I like her style and the fact that she truly cares about the couple remaining friends if they can.
I had the worst representation ever with this lawyer. Very painful divorce which she made worst with her bullying. I had no experience what so ever and followed her lead......worst mistake ever. She never fought for my interests and her only interest was to close the mediation process as soon as possible using a "friend" as a mediator. I lost everything because she made me sign a mediation that I had no clue it was a document basically written in stone. She made me believe things could be changed. But, the worst was the bullying...... by phone, email, in person.......She seemed to be on my side until I paid the retainer, after that, it was a painful process, more than the divorce itself. I would never recommend her not even if my life depended on it.

But, the worst was the bullying...... by phone, email, in person.......She seemed to be on my side until I paid the retainer, after that, it was a painful process, more than the divorce itself. I would never recommend her not even if my life depended on it.
