Jeff has a long history aggressively litigating cases and handling Maine Workers' Compensation claims, criminal defense, and other civil cases.  When Jeff and his wife, Sarah, moved to Maine several years ago Jeff began handling claims for the largest workers' compensation insurance company in Maine.  While there he not only developed a deep understanding of the laws and procedures underlying workers' compensation claims, but he also started to learn the tricks and methods employers and insurance companies try to use to deny injured workers what they are entitled to. From there Jeff moved on to work at one of the most respected workers' compensation law firms in Portland, Maine, where he furthered his education of Maine Workers' Compensation by trying numerous cases to hearing and practicing before the Appellate Division of the Board.  In addition to his legal representation, Jeff has lectured to various audiences and written extensively on several workers' compensation topics.  Jeff also operated his own general practice law firm representing clients in cases ranging from criminal defense, OUI's, divorces, real estate issues, workers' compensation claims, and much more.  Before moving to Maine Jeff worked for a prominent law firm in Barre, Vermont, practicing criminal defense and civil litigation.  He also wrote briefs before the Vermont Supreme Court.
