Customer service is key. It all started when first calling and an employee asked how they could help me. Who was I looking for? I received an email about a consultation. I’m than transferred into space no name of the person they transferred me to. That should have been my sign to just move on, but I called back. I’m trying to get answers. I called back and was transferred to Mr. Sirody. Who seemed rushed in the first 10 seconds of our conversation. I don’t know about him but if someone is calling your firm for assistance with a sensitive subject wouldn’t you want to make them feel welcomed. Like you were there to help. Yet He made me feel as if I should have know what he needed to know from me. I should have know what to say to start the conversation. If you need compassion and understanding this is not the firm to begin with.

I only gave his office one star because you had to choose one. I wished I had read these reviews before hiring this sorry firm to represent me. I only met Mr. Sirody during my initial consultation. He did not inform me that he would not be the one to represent me in bankruptcy court, he sent an associate which I did not know about until minutes before I had to walk into court. Then his staff does not believe in returning phone calls. In order to get someone to return a phone call, I had to fuss and show my dissatisfaction with the company. I had another question and called the firm again a week later and it has been three days with no return phone call yet. Even when you email an employee of this company, they do not respond. I believe this firm is just about the money they can make and not the clients.

Mr. Sirody only did the consultation while his servants did all the work and basically gave me better advise and showed concern more than he did. I felt like a herd of cows with hardly anyone in the office to take care of the workload! He is just out to make a buck and I was not empressed by his methods. I made it though my ch 7 but only due to the paralegal that assisted me not him!

I paid (in full) Mr. Sirody nearly 6 (six) weeks prior to the sale date of my home. At that time all of my documentation had also been submitted to his office. He never filed my bankruptcy which lead to my home being sold at auction without either my or his knowledge. Mr. Sirody told me that it was my responsibility to let him know what the sale date was and that would be his trigger to start my paper work. My Chapter 13 had to be converted into a Chapter 7. During our meeting, he was smug and condescending and blamed me for the error. That was the beginning of July. My bankruptcy was filed a month later in August. His office never contacted with updates or the date for my hearing. The only time they contacted me was for my last payment which was sent to them on May 9, 2013. I had no idea that my home could still be sold since he told me the filing would "stop the foreclosure dead in its tracks". I thought that since I had given him every piece of paper they had asked for, paid in full, I was covered.

I hired him for bankruptcy and once i wrote that check he never talked to me again. He would not answer the phone; he would only let you talk to his secretaries. He did not file my papers in a timely fashion missing some deadlines causing my bankruptcy to extend over a year before being discharged. I would not recommend using him. He is the most expensive bankruptcy attorney in the area. Check you resources and do your due diligence. He is over rated.
