My experiences working as a high school teacher and in the sub-prime auto industry inspired me to pursue a legal career that allows me to help people solve real problems and make an immediate and positive impact in their lives. Bringing together a passion for learning, a joy in guiding people through complicated situations, and a desire to help make people’s lives better, I am ready to help create solutions to your legal problems.My philosophy to the practice of law is simple: treat every client like an old friend who needs help. That means straightforward advice, clear communication, and a plan to help you achieve your objectives. While I understand legal problems in the area of family law or personal injury may not always have a happy ending for everyone involved, I want to help make the best out of every situation for every client.I am a Spartanburg native who graduated with honors from Drake Law School in Des Moines, Iowa; ranking in the top 20% of my graduating class. I am licensed to practice law in both South Carolina and Colorado. Prior to my legal education, I received a bachelor of science in business administration from USC Upstate and a Master’s in education from Converse College.My practice focuses on all facets of family law, personal injury, residential real estate closings, and simple estate planning matters. In addition to the practice of law, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three dogs, watching both professional and college sports, and traveling.
