I hired Jeff to be the real estate attorney on my first time home purchase. Because I'm not a real estate attorney and this was my first time going through they closing process; I relied on him to thoroughly review my entire deal as my attorney. He did not. He constantly communicated with my agent only, not keeping me in the loop and requiring my agent to explain legal things to me; things that he, as my attorney, should have been explaining to me. During my walk through, I informed him of things that were not corrected, rather than listen to me and represent my interests, he dismissed me. After reviewing emails and my closing documents with other attorneys, several attorneys pointed out things he missed. Things that should have been questioned before allowing a client to close. This is why I don't believe he was thorough in his representation of me. It's cost me dearly, financially as well as mentally and emotionally.
