This attorney never remembered the details of my case. He was not interested in my issue and has a penchant for being dismissive.
I hired this attorney to assist me in a case that was similar to a case that he had pending against the same defendant a local used car dealer who's known for having a history of scamming and ripping off local consumers. Mr. Kuykendall took my case on 05/10/2021 and began communicating with the business and its attorney. I had a conversation with Mr. Kuykendall on 05/18/2021 that was every unsettling to me as he spoke as if he were more interested in not tarnishing the reputation of the Defendant in my case than he was of aggressively fighting the case for me to get the money that the defendant rightfully owes me. I terminated my agreement with Mr. Kuykendall the next day. As of 5/25/2021 I learned that Mr. Kuykendall had used my case as a tool to get leverage with getting the same defendant to settle in the pending case he had on court dockets against them for that client, on 5/27/2021 he reached a settlement with the defendant for that client by using me and the evidence i provided him as a pawn. Mr. Kuykendall has violated SC Rule 407 Rules of Professional Conduct and Rule 1.9 Duties to former Clients. I would never seek this attorney out again and would encourage anyone to look further as he's manipulative and may work against you.
