My mom was trying to sell her house that she had bought with my dad and lived in since 1966. The house had been deeded to my parents and the three children before my father's death. And then again to my mom and the three children after my dads death. So we had not only the two family house that the city of Worcester had zoned as a single family but my father's estate had to go through probate ten years after his death.
