Mr. Gillette is very caring and patient as well as knowledgable!! I asked the same question for more than 20 lawyers. Most of lawyers turned down and gave wrong indirection. Only Mr. Gillette was doing the right thing and directed me to the right direction!
Jeff Gillette is a class act. He is professional, ethical and committed. I hired him to represent me in my child custody and post separation support trial. Throughout the preparation stage, he kept me well-informed and due to his diligence we met every deadline set by the court. During the trial, he remained focused on the issues rather than get reeled in by the opposing council. As such, although he was up against a more experienced attorney, by staying on task, Mr. Gillette successfully convinced the judge to award me physical custody of my daughter as well as child support and a substantial alimony settlement. His fees are reasonable and his representation stellar. If you are looking for quality representation, Jeff Gillette is your man.
Mr. Gillette handled a delicate civil matter for me. His interview provided me with clear information on the process and what to gather to be fully prepared for trial. I was clearly wronged but it was not entirely clear that I could get the relief needed from the court but he was able to outline the things necessary to support the claim. On trial day he was able to get my desired result without a trial. It was an entirely satisfactory outcome.
On a recent federal case, I was appointed to have Mr. Gillette defend me. As the process commenced, it appeared as though he was simply relaying what the prosecution presented and updating me along the way. There was no discussion about how I would like to handle my defense nor any suggestions regarding a negotiation. I’m not sure how much experience he has with Federal cases, but he certainly made some minimal (however very apparent) errors while in court. Upon reviewing the Plea, I brought attention to the fact that we didn’t even attempt to fight the abundantly excessive consequences. His response to me when I expressed my concern that we didn’t attempt to fight the conviction whatsoever was “this is simply how the Federal process works”. The one thing he did seem to have prepared was a well organized binder of paperwork and documentation, which I’m sure his capable staff and/or paralegal prepared with conscientious deliberation.
