*** The opinion below should be considered as my individual opinion and NOT to be considered legal advice. I will adhere to the facts and NOT resort to blasphemy *** Mr. Ermis is a nice guy. A very supportive individual. He WAS my best friend when I picked up the phone and called him to get some emotional support. But when it came to real time battle at the court, he was NOT the attorney with the best set of strategies. His court politics were NOT always for my best interest. My case involved a very abusive spouse who literally tried to stab me with a knife. I had this incident recorded on a video clip. Despite of this evidence, Mr. Ermis failed to convince the judge that my spouse WAS an unfit parent. The opponent side attorney subpoenaed witnesses that Mr. Ermis did NOT have a proper strategy to interrogate them. Therefore, the opponent side attorney just managed to obtain testimonies in favor of an abusive spouse. The opponent side attorney had a much better plan and her plans triumphed at the hearing. Mr. Ermis failed to come up with a better action plan than her. Afterwards, Mr. Ermis basically went with the flow of the opponent side attorney and agreed to the terms they gave us. Without putting up a hearty fight for me. I feel that he simply FAILED to establish the fact that my spouse WAS arrested for trying to attack me with a F()ng knife. She also busted my face and busted my eye to a point I had to go to the emergency numerous times. I had all of these on record and as evidence. If all of these evidences do NOT establish reasonable cause, then what does? At the end, I should say, Mr. Ermis is a good lawyer, but not a great family case attorney. I would recommend him for easier cases. But cases that require substantial amount of due diligence, I would hire an attorney who is WILLING to put in the amount of efforts that is required to fight for me to show better worth of my time and money.
can’t recommend anything about this firm. You will do better representing yourself. Super overpriced. Ermis is $300/hr and he is worth about $10/hr. If you care about your situation don’t use this firm. You will regret it!
What sold me on Jeffrey was that he was a great listener. We had two one hour consultations and I was sold off of his professionalism and great listening skills. Upon hiring Jeffrey I assured with him if he would be able to handle my divorce case because of the complicity. Jeffrey agreed wholeheartedly he was able to do the job. Since hiring him for my case I have had to contact Jeffrey asking for updates on the case several times and seem to be doing most of the legal work behind him. If I would’ve known that I would be taking my own legal advice I could’ve saved on a lot of time and money. If you are looking for a lawyer that is willing to take on an easy case, Jeffrey is your go to; something complex save the hassle and go with someone who specializes in Family Law.
This guy is special ed at best! Do not use him.. Worse lawyer ever. Unprofessional. I don’t even believe he has a degree. It will be better to represent your self than use this guy! Beware!
