He is also on the Boards of the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation and Lawyers for Civil Rights. His volunteer work includes representing special needs children and indigent individuals denied public housing assistance and coaching Boston Latin School’s Mock Trial team.Personal BackgroundAttorney Catalano grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania as the son of two school teachers. After college, he worked with underprivileged children in Boston as a full-time volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. He then attended Boston College Law School, where he was President of the Public Interest Law Foundation, and received the law school’s “Professional and Personal Achievement Award.” Following law school, he and his wife Elizabeth created a non-profit that provided stipends to law students in public interest jobs.He lives in Boston and he and his wife have two children, Zach and Tessa.
