I am a wife trying my best to help my husband in an on going Family Court battle. Being Pro se, there are so many questions, so many forms to fill out, so much stress that I finally decided to reach out to Avvo for help. Mr. Grandjean answered my question immediately. We emailed each other at 9:00p.m and by the following morning he was there to answer my call and provide me with all the answers I needed. He even reviewed documents I created on my own free of charge. What I loved most was that it didn't matter to him that I couldn't afford a lawyer, he just knew I needed help and was there for me. Hired Grandjean to help with a paternity and relocation case, he was good on paternity. The relocation case he refused to file the needed paperwork for the courts, wasted my time and money. I ended up having to hire a different attorney to handle my case. When I fired Grandjean I asked for a detailed description of how my retainer was used, and I still haven’t received it or any refund from his office. It has been about 8 months.
