We had all been so impressed with Jayne's work from the first time we hired her in 1997, that all of us agreed that we would use Jayne to help us through this process as well. Once more Jayne came through for all of us. It is very rare that both sides (buyers and seller) would use the same person to represent them, but that is the kind of trust that all of us had in Jayne. She did not disappoint us! She was able to come up with a workable and realistic plan that addressed the different needs, and that we all agreed upon. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is honest, creative, has reasonable prices for the high quality of work that she does. She takes complicated legal issues and simplifies them so that everybody can have a clear understanding of the situation. Wow, my sister in law found this lawyer to help resolve a messy dispute over money and power at our family firm. Jayne met with us in depth, anaylyzed accountings and legal docs for us, spelled things out so we could understand it. One person/ brother wanted to control the entire company but Jayne proved to him that he was not a good fit. he was mad for a time. She figured out how to get all of us to agree on the right way to proceed and we are all satisfied, though maybe not thrilled. In tuff times the best solution is not always MY solution or my brother's solution. We could have each hired a mean lawyer who would waste our time and money. instead we got a problem solver who had been this route before. She also found an error that saved us some big bucks each year that was used to make payouts to us instead. Jayne was always available to talk about our case, and in fact, made what I felt was a "special trip" to meet with us initially rather than having us go to her office. She listened to our concerns and gave very plain-spoken, easy to understand advice about our situation to solve the problem.
